Our STORY

Grijalva General Contracting, Inc. got its start back in 1995 working out of a one bedroom apartment in Newhall California. Newlywed’s Bill and Melanie Grijalva were expecting their first child when they got their first client.

Bill started in the construction field in 1987 two years out of high school and became a master carpenter/framer, working under some of the biggest contractors in Los Angeles. Here he learned all about building and remodeling homes.

Seven years later he decided that he wanted to become his own boss. With Melanie by his side, their business grew. Now, 27 years and 8 children later and now based in the mountains outside of Santa Clarita, Ca., Grijalva General Contracting inc, has become a leader in the industry. Still focusing on home remodeling, Bill treats each and every client like family. He still works alongside his employees and subcontractors, hammer in hand.
